Wedding Jazz

Rockin' in Rhythm are a superb swing band, playing all the classic big band dance favourites from the 1930's and 40's. Based in the South East UK, the band has been playing together for over 15 years, released four albums and often tours in Europe.

Great for all ages

With all generations to be entertained at a wedding, the choice of music can be very hard. Our gentle sound appeals to young and old, people can dance or just listen as they like. We regularly play for jive dancing and Lindy Hop, so your Fred and Gingers can show off too. We were recently featured on Rock my wedding at the Walled Garden at Cowdray.

We cover London, Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, Berkshire and Middlesex as well as Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. We are all professional musicians with decades of experience.

• We bring all the equipment necessary and set up well before the event
• All members of the Musicians Union with Public Liability Insurance
• All electrical equipment has been PAT tested

Smaller groups are available from trios and we can grow to eight musicians for a full big band sound. We often play outdoors in the good weather as long as there is a flat area to stand on and we can bring our own shade and electricity generator if necessary.

Our line up can include vocals, trumpet, sax, trombone, guitar, piano, bass and drums and we can provide any combination and line up to suit your event. Instrumental line ups can provide ambience and dancing or include the vocals for more of a concert performance. We can provide DJ's and a sound system for a whole evenings entertainment. Indoors and out, as long as it's not raining, and we bring all the equipment necessary. We play swing jazz from our extensive repertoire and any requests.
